KYC Guidelines

PERIODICAL SUBMISSION OF KYC (Re KYC)

As per RBI guidelines on KYC norms, Banks need to periodically update KYC documents in the records oftheir account holders.

Therefore, in addition to the KYC carried out at the time of account opening, the account holders are required to undergo Re-KYC and submit the requisite documents at periodic interval, to avoid any restriction being placed in the account as per guidelines.

How to Submit Re-KYC documents:

    • Individual Resident Customers (other than Minor) having Aadhaar Number can undertake Online Re-KYC through TGB Mobile Banking application and Internet Banking Site.
    • Individual Resident Customers (other than Minor) having Aadhaar Number & Original PAN can undertake Video Re-KYC (Re-KYC online through Video Call).
    • Visit your home branch and submit the duly signed Re-KYC form & copy of valid KYC documents.
    • Email / Post / Courier / Physical delivery of duly signed self-declaration form in case of no change in KYC information / change of address only.

  • For Individuals
    • Self-declaration in case of no change in KYC information (including PAN / Form 60) of Individual Customer Download (Annexure-A)
    • Self-declaration in case there is change of address only in KYC information (including PAN / Form 60) of Individual Customer Download (Annexure-B)
  • For Non-Individuals
    • Self-declaration in case of no change in KYC information of Non-Individual customer Download (Annexure-A)
    • Self-declaration in case there is change of address only in KYC information (including PAN / Form 60) of Non-Individual Customer Download (Annexure-B)

Know list of valid KYC documents:

  • List I

    Proof of identity

    • Passport, if the address differs from the one mentioned in the account opening form
    • Voter ID Card, if the address differs from the one mentioned in the account opening form
    • PAN Card
    • Govt. / Defence ID card
    • ID cards issued by reputed employers
    • Driving License
    • AADHAR (UID) card
    • NREGA card
    • Pension Payment Orders (Govt./PSUs), if the address differs from the one mentioned in the account opening form
    • Photo identity card issued to bonafide students by a University
    • Photo ID Card issued by Post Offices
    • Letter from recognized public authority/public servant confirming identity by attesting the photograph(s) of applicants.
  • List II

    Proof of address

    • Credit card statement
    • Salary slip
    • Income tax /wealth tax assessment
    • Electricity bill
    • Telephone bill
    • Bank account statement
    • Letter from a reputed employer
    • Letter from any recognized public authority
    • Ration card
    • Copies of Registered lease & license agreement/Sale Deed/Lease Agreement may be accepted as proof of address.
